Home Tour: Magnolia

The Magnolia model home by Greenstone was a labor of love. Taking many years for Greenstone to get the floor plan just right, this model home is a wonderful option for a large family or someone who needs lots of room to spread out.

Beautifully detailed with a balanced cool and warm pallet, the home’s finishes feature LVP oak flooring and beautiful Hickory cabinets with black, white and taupe tiles throughout. We played off this fresh and versatile color pallet and decided to feature furnishings primarily from our Bide & Burgeon showroom.

Bide & Burgeon offers today’s latest styles in furniture and decor at very affordable prices.

As you approach the home we’ve furnished the welcoming front entry with a three piece outdoor set called the Fynnegan. The roomy front porch gives homeowners the opportunity to enjoy their neighborhood. Once you enter the home, the elegant and spacious entryway was the perfect opportunity to feature a new rug (Millennium) and pair it with a great entry cabinet as well as a bench. This space is actually large enough to house a credenza, but we chose to feature a gallery wall instead. The gallery wall features historical photos of Idaho.

Wanting to showcase some of our best sellers, we decided to use a flanking sofa floor plan that also takes advantage of the sizeable main living room. The Caladeron Sofas sit high on elegant legs, while providing a comfortable seating space with tufted cushions. We incorporated a wood, stone and metal occasional table collection from The Tin Roof called Carmen by Flexsteel. The two groups pair beautifully together sitting on a 9x13 area rug with a soft subtle pattern than repeats the elegant color story of the home.

The dining space in this home is extremely versatile and we’ve space planned it many ways. For the model we wanted to show a round table and round light fixture, so we chose the Legolas dining table by Mercana and paired it with Bide & Burgeon farmhouse chairs atop the fan favorite Theia rug. The dining room also features a bar cart from Bide & Burgeon and a beautiful Tilda buffet from The Tin Roof. The elegant draperies are simple options sourced from Amazon and hung high and wide they really add a sense of formality and elegance to our dining room.

As you continue upstairs to the “bonus room” you’ll be impressed with the expansive space. With so many options for use, we chose to fill the corner with a large leather sectional for a media space. With so many rooms in the home, it would make sense that the home feature a study space for families, so we used the ladder bookcases by NPD and paired them with a console bar table, all from Bide & Burgeon. The foosball table is only for after your homework is done!

The three bedrooms upstairs are all reasonably sized and we featured fun, youthful collections from Bide & Burgeon. The “camping room” is clearly styled for a younger client and we really had fun with the theme sourcing simple peel and stick decals from Amazon with the Piperton collection for a modern, fun look for this quirky bedroom.

The girl's room has more of a boho look featuring the Paxberry collection. The desk was a piece in the builder’s existing staging inventory, and we paired with a round brass mirror and a fun, mixed pattern velvet chair. What tween girl wouldn’t love hanging out in this space?

The last kids room features a “house bed” that any kid would love to have! Available in black or white, this fun bed comes in a twin or full and is simple enough to suite any style. We really had fun without skateboarding theme and paired the bed with some existing pieces from the Greenstone inventory.

Overall the look of this home is “northwest modern” with an inviting, warm color pallet that is anchored in a timeless combination of blacks, greys, tans and taupes.
